What have you been doing the past 45 years?

After graduating from GHS and Drexel as a BSEE, I went to work for the Naval Air Engineering Center at the Phila Navy Yard for a year.
They sent me on two business trips to the west coast which I thanked them for, resigned and found a job as a flight test engineer
with Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach, California. I worked as an instrumentation engineer from ?64-69 on the Navy fighter-bomber A-4
and TA-4 Skyhawk, DC-8 and DC-9 aircraft.

A head hunter lured me away to a sales job selling electronic test equipment for Hewlett-Packard which I enjoyed doing for 16 years.
I left H-P to work in the manufacturer's rep business for a couple of years and was then offered a position with Tektroni x, Inc.
I worked for Tek for 11 years primarily calling on aerospace accounts.

I retired in 2000 for 4 years and one day got a call from an old friend at Tektronix asking me if I wanted my old job back.
Thinking it would be fun to do for another year, I accepted. That was almost 3 years ago and I'm still enjoying working with
my old customers and meeting new ones.

My wife and I enjoy living at the beach in Hermosa Beach, CA. It has a small town feel yet is close to a wide variety of attractions.

We have 3 grown children, two grandchildren and seven great nieces & nephews. Our youngest daughter lived in the Netherlands
for 4 years, and we enjoyed traveling to Europe to visit her and taking many side trips to neighboring countries. Our eldest
daughter works ski patrol at Mammoth Mountain where we've had a cabin since '95. We still enjoy skiing and other outdoor
activities all year round.
